CMSA Flag Football is one of CMSA's most exciting sports!
Our Open & W+ leagues offer captain-led teams in competitive and recreational divisions in the spring and fall.
Each season, the captains will draft their team, so there's always a competition to see which new team will take home the trophy. It’s a great way to meet new friends around the league, and you're always getting a chance to play someone new!

Open & W+ Flag Football - 7 v. 7, draft format, competitive and recreational divisions
Open and W+ Flag Football
All players register before the player draft. Following draft camps, team captains conduct a draft to form teams. Teams change every season.
Open & Women’s+ Flag Football
Pre-Season:
There will be two draft camp sessions in March (spring season) and August (fall season) for players to learn more about league rules and expectations. Captains will be in attendance to see who is available for the upcoming draft.
Regular Season:
Games are played Saturday mornings/afternoons. The spring season runs from April to June. The fall season runs from September to November.
Playoffs:
Single-elimination playoffs take place in a single day. Teams are seeded based on regular-season standings.
Jerseys, flags, field equipment are all provided by the league. Games are refereed by paid officials.
Players must provide pocketless shorts. We recommend cleats (plastic only - NO METAL) and football gloves as well, but neither are required.
