Football Leagues
CMSA Flag Football is one of CMSA's most exciting sports!
Our open league offers a draft league in the spring and fall which means there's always a competition to see which new team will take home the title and is a great way to meet new friends around the league - you're always getting a chance to play someone new!
Our Women's+ league plays in the late fall each year and offers captain-led teams in competitive and recreational divisions. New players are welcomed into the league and placed with one of our current teams and will be introduced to plenty of new friends!

Open Flag Football - 7 v. 7, teams are drafted prior to season start

Open Flag Football
All players register prior to the player draft and draft camps. Following draft camps, team captains conduct a draft to set teams. Teams change every season.
Women's+ Flag Football
Captains/Full Teams:
Team captains can register and create a team. Individuals can then register on their own and select their preferred team.
Free Agents:
Players may register as a free agent and will be assigned to a team prior to the league start date.
Open Flag Football
Regular Season:
1-2 games per week; 6 games in spring, 10 games in fall. Games are played Saturday morning/afternoons.
Playoffs:
Single elimination playoffs, seeded based on regular season finish.
Women's+ Flag Football
Regular Season:
Games are played Sunday morning/afternoons.
Playoffs:
Single elimination playoffs.
Jerseys, flags, field equipment are all provided by the league. Games are refereed by paid officials.
Players must provide pocketless shorts. We recommend cleats (plastic only - NO METAL) and football gloves as well, but neither are required.
