Refund Policy

CMSA Refund and Chargeback Policy

We want our members to have positive experiences with CMSA. If you need to withdraw from a program, contact your commissioner as early as possible.

Refunds

  • Before the season starts:
    Full refund
  • Program cancellation:
    Full refund
  • After the season starts:
Partial refunds issued at the commissioner's or board liaison’s discretion based on circumstances (injury, personal conflict, or other extenuating circumstances)

No refunds or partial refunds are issued for weather-related cancellations during the season.

To request a refund, please first contact the commissioner of the program/sport you have registered. Escalations should be made to the CMSA Treasurer.

Chargebacks / Disputes

A player must request a refund before disputing a charge with the card issuer. Players who dispute a CMSA charge will be assessed a $50 fee that must be paid before registering for another CMSA sport or event. This fee will be assessed regardless of whether the dispute is allowed. A player who, after having a request for a refund denied, disputes a CMSA charge may be assessed a fee, depending on the circumstances.

Questions

Contact your commissioner before registering if you have concerns about commitment or eligibility. Escalations should be made to the CMSA Treasurer.
