Conduct Committee Update

A special investigation was conducted by 2 members of the Conduct Committee into the actions of a player in the soccer league. The report of the investigation was emailed to the board for consideration and review prior to the board meeting. After discussion, it was decided that the player should be removed from CMSA Soccer at least until the 2025 Summer season.

Managing Director Updates

We have a photographer who is contracted through CMSA to engage and take pictures of different leagues and events. We are working with him to get each sport photographed

Sponsorship agreement
It was decided that the sponsorship agreement would apply to Volleyball only and the commissioner can coordinate

Bylaws Revisions

The proposed bylaws amendment did not pass the 2/3 required vote by the membership. It was decided to hold a special election later in the Fall with the proposed amendments to the bylaws

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is coming up, all board members are encouraged to attend.

T Shirt Order

It was requested by the Volleyball league to order special CMSA T-Shirts for “Staff”

Removal from Office Hearing

A closed session regarding an investigation into the removal of CMSA’s Vice President of Athletics for alleged abuse of power, creating a toxic work environment, and causing harm and issues to the organization and its leadership. The investigation was dismissed upon receipt of a resignation from the VP of Athletics
