  • varies per month -- each of us on the Board maintains full-time jobs and participates in sports/manages other sports as well and has our lives to lead too.

Projects/Tasks:

  • For the Board, there is a Strategic Plan  that has 31 projects tied to organizational culture, operational efficiency, and effectiveness, and community engagement, safety, and development.
  • As a whole board, we have the direction we know we want to head for the coming years and we will work together to get them done with the priorities being the 1-year goals and doing what we can to further the 2024 and 2026 goals.

Roles/Responsibilities of the Board:

  • The expectation of the Board is to continue moving the organization in a better direction. The roles include President, Vice President of Athletics, Vice President of Operations, Secretary, and Treasurer in addition to the Directors at Large. Each of the roles has a bit more flexibility in what they can 'own' or pursue especially if it interests them.
  • Most of us have joined the CMSA Executive Board because we want to make CMSA a better experience for members and part of that is from some background operational improvements but most of it comes with the culture we create and how we are identifying ways to help the organization get better.

Are you interested in helping to grow and lead the CMSA organization? Submit your interest and any thoughts, ideas, and strategies to run CMSA including relevant former experiences that would make them a great fit on the CMSA Main Board.
